# Getting Started With Genify

Genify is a brokerage platform where you can either buy tokenized assets or tokenize your already existing traditional portfolio: any real-world asset can be tokenized on the Brokerage, bought, stored, and tokenized safely and effectively. These assets can be any financial instrument that is traded on traditional exchanges, such as stocks, ETFs, bonds, commodities, and fiat currencies (USD, EUR, CZK, and others...). Assets can be issued by any client who has a Genify account or through OTC, allowing banks, financial organizations, companies, and individuals to take part. 

On Genify, issuing an asset is simple and requires a small number of steps. On the other hand, clients must do the due diligence on the asset they want to hold on their side, such as P/E, valuation, risk profile, or other information they can publicly find. 

**Stablecoins**

Stablecoins leverage blockchain technology to improve traditional remittances, bringing stability, security, and innovation. Stable Labs supports fully compliant and backed stablecoins issued and licensed in the European Union. Some of the supported stablecoins are:

* USDI: Backed 1:1 by the US dollar.
* EURI: Backed 1:1 by the Euro.
* CZKI: Backed 1:1 by the Czech Koruna.
* Other currencies will be added along the way.<br>

Stablecoins offer secure on-ramping and off-ramping from and to supported currencies, fast and secure redemption, and easy integration into various financial services and tasks, including money transfers, payments, settlements, and other applications.

**Tokenized assets**&#x20;

Tokenized publicly traded equities, bonds, ETFs, and commodities are always 1:1 backed and offer redemption guarantees. Once the RWA is issued and in the client's wallet, it can be used in DeFi to the maximum. Important characteristics consist of:

* Price Pegging: The underlying asset's price determines each token's price - always 1:1.
* Guarantees: Minting and redemptions are always happening at a 1:1 ratio with the traditional market price of the asset.
* Proof of Reserve: Chainlink's Proof of Reserve Reports, which are audited by an independent third-party auditor, provide a trustworthy source of custody assets that backs the RWA tokens. (in progress)&#x20;
